Download here or here a complete copy of this 40-page, one-off newspaper issue produced by Temporary Services on the subject of "Art, Labor, and the Sinking Economy" and artists' efforts to organize in their own behalf during times of economic hardship. A limited number of hard copies are also being distributed at select locations.

Temporary Services is a Chicago-based artists' collective "working out of a Situationist tradition," whose projects or publications have been featured at Mass MoCA, the Elizabeth Foundation, the Smart Museum of Art, the Creative Time Summit, and elsewhere. Contributors to the newspaper include artists, critics, writers, and educators "seeking to articulate the ways in which artists and culture-makers both respond to and deal with the economic depressions of the world," including Holland Cotter (The New York Times); writer/artist Gregory Shollette (contributor to Artforum and co-editor of The Interventionists: Users' Manual for the Creative Disruption of Everyday Life); artist/writer Nicolas Lampert; artist/writer Harrell Fletcher; artist Lize Mogel; Linda Frye Burnham, writer and founder of High Performance magazine; Scott Berzofsky and John Duda, organizers of City from Below; and Cooley Windsor, author of Visit Me in California; among others.
